Abundance, abundance, abundance! So often when we think about the opportunity to manifest anything we desire, we shoot right to money. We tie a lot of our happiness to money. Whether we have it or we don’t have it is all relative, depending on who you are and your situation. What is “lack of money” to one person can seem like a fortune to another, and that all depends on how we are wired. Sometimes we want money so we never have to work again and we can travel the world. Sometimes we feel money is the answer to our health problems or to our security fears. So, when presented with the Law of Attraction and the potential to manifest anything, so often we jump right to “winning the lottery“ as what we want to ask the Universe for.
But here’s a hot secret: You can manifest things that are even better than winning the lottery! And not only are they better than winning the lottery, you can manifest them quickly when you do it right.
Let’s put this into Law of Attraction context. If you follow me on social media or you’ve read my book, you know how critical the concept of “alignment“ is. Think of how aligned you feel when you imagine your perfect Saturday evening and you can visualize how couch-comfy or club-jammin’ or relaxed that feels for you. That’s getting in alignment with joy. It should feel natural and tingly. Here’s another example: If you want to manifest a physical healing in your health, it’s likely that you can imagine the awesome emotion and energetic vibration of what it will feel like when you have manifested good health again.
But winning the lottery? Winning the lottery is an abstract concept. Think about it. Do you want to win a scratch-off game? The $1 million power ball? The $2.4 billion mega-lottery? Why–is there a difference?
So here’s the hot tip: What’s important to work on is deciding how winning the lottery would change your life. Herein lies the best exercise you can do to manifest abundance: Write down all the things that would change for you if you won the lottery. Focus on the freedom, what you would purchase, how you would use it…all the things that you know will bring you joy.
Now, instead of trying to manifest “winning the lottery,“ use the process of Ask, Believe, and Receive on these ultimate winnings as the goal of your manifestation. The error in focusing your intention only on winning the money is that you’re focusing on the “how” instead of the “what” will bring you joy, and when you focus on the “how” you are disconnecting from what you ultimately want and what you can get in real alignment with.
This is meaningful manifestation, and your meaningful manifestations will not only come to you quickly because you can align with the joy of them–ultimately the sense of abundance that you receive with them is going to feel better than what you imagined winning the lottery would. Focus on the travel, focus on the philanthropy, focus on the education, experiences, and lifestyle. All the energy you put toward those intentions when they mean something to you and your joy are really what your life is all about, and therefore what we manifest with ease.
What happens next is that the Universe delivers! It is not up to us to decide how we will manifest what we want. The delivery will come in its own way. Sure, sometimes with a surprise money windfall, but more often than not the Universe conspires in unusual ways to put together the cooperative components that lead to all the “things” that we put our intention on. So relax, “Receive,” and enjoy the ride!
